Used to be in Lowell
now its NeverNeverLand
The hang outs where Jack used to
frequent
Kerouac the first rap artist
with or without the mic
North Beach
San Fran in the Fifties
No one did the spoken word
better
I see my youngest son reading
On the Road
the legacy continues
cross generational
bebop
treetop
soda pop
I can't get enough of that
natural prose
City Lights
keeps the lamp burning
ain't nothin like it
ain't nothin like it
I wait for the next generation
to step
up
to tell it
like it is
like it was
remarkable
it
certainly
is
