The Great Barrier Reef
Everyone loves beaches and the ocean but there is world under the ocean that many don't get the chance to see. The Great Barrier Reef is one of those places, located in the Queens land Coast where it is part of the Coral Sea and one of the largest reefs that exists in the world. Under the blue waters lies a world all of its own. Here you can experience the sights of the humpback dolphins, dwarf minke whales, flat back turtles, olive ridley turtles and even salt-water crocodiles. This will create memories that will never be forgotten. The beauty that lies under the water will leave you feeling like you just visited another planet.
If bird watching is a specialty of yours then you have just entered bird watchers heaven. They live on the reef and will amaze you with their colorful bodies and antics. To view all this beauty you can take a special boat that lets you get an insight of the life below or if your into scuba diving you can swim with the fishes and get an up close and personal look at what lies below this beautiful blanket of water.
Sydney Harbor
Sydney Harbor is a harbor that was made by nature without the intervention of man. This is a must on anyone's itinerary when visiting Australia. The sight is breathtaking with the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House adding to the beauty. The architecture of the Sydney Opera House is a jaw dropping experience on its own. If you enjoy opera then taking in a concert at the Sydney Opera House is a must. The bridge itself is an awesome sight.
