Salty tears snake down your cheeks
Hailing, haphazardly down to Earth.
I was here for you in times of struggle,
And in times of mirth.
Every single fumble,
And every single joy,
I have been there for you,
Your little wind up toy.
But that is over now;
I am no longer a soiled rag.
I have my own life now I chuckle
As I pack my canvas bag.
Goodbye my darling, goodbye my sweet,
No you have done nothing wrong;
You were merely looking for,
A shoulder to cry on.

You seek my shoulder's solace
Swept asea in a storm of teardrops
I will be your port of refuge
Direct you towards where

Melancholy baby, singing broken hearted tunes,
Tears that fall inside your soul, I hear the painful croon.
I wish I knew what

Comforted By The Living
Ever attentive without casting stones,
you've been so supportive when I'm all alone.
Always available
by Leigh Goessl
Here's my shoulder to cry on when in need
Tuck yourself safely underneath my wing
Lean on me and I'll try to understand
And
A shoulder to cry on is what I will offer you...forever
You live far away, our paths no longer cross, however, you know that
