"Arbiter of Knollridge" is a 5/5 white giant wizard creature printed as a rare for the Magic the Gathering expansion set known as "Lorwyn." This is one of the rather interesting cards to have. It is something that can either help you or hurt you in the long run. If you want to be a complete jerk and prolong a game for no apparent reason, Arbiter of Knollridge is a rather interesting card to have.
The converted mana cost for Arbiter of Knollridge is seven. You will need one red mana and six colorless mana to bring Arbiter of Knollridge from your hand and onto the battlefield. For what this can do, it is debatable on whether or not Arbiter of Knollridge is worth the mana cost. This is a very expensive card to play for the most part. Depending on the situation, it is either feasible or unfeasible to play Arbiter of Knollridge.
What does Arbiter of Knollridge do in the first place?
The first ability of the Arbiter of Knollridge is Vigilance. It can attack without having to tap. In this case, the Arbiter of Knollridge can attack during your turn. When it is not your turn, you can still use Arbiter of Knollridge to defend. However, this is not the main ability of Arbiter of Knollridge.
The main ability can greatly change the dynamic of the game in your favor or your opponent's favor. When this comes onto the battlefield, the life total of each player is equal to the one with the highest life total. In this respect, if you have ten life points and your opponent has seventy life points, your life point total would be at seventy should Arbiter of Knollridge come onto the battlefield. However, this is a double-edged sword. If your life total is forty and your opponent's life total is at six, you would want to hold off on playing Arbiter of Knollridge. If you played it, then your opponent's life total would also be at forty.
This is a card to play if you want to prolong the game for a few more turns. However, that is provided your life points are low. You will need a good combination of cards such as "Erratic Portal" or "Volrath's Stronghold" (the latter if you are also playing with black cards). Should something happen to Arbiter of Knollridge, you could bring it back onto the battlefield next turn. This acts as a good safety card if your life points are dangerously low for the most part.
Overall, it seems to be an interesting enough card. This is something meant to be played late game. If you are at a life point disadvantage, you would want to play Arbiter of Knollridge. If not, do not play the card.
