Why are you shutting down on me
Don't you see I'm here
And I love you
I have always loved you.
Please don't shut me out.
I hate when you do that.
Let me in I'm waiting.
I'll wait all day.
I'll hold you awhile
If you need me to.
I'll listen when you need to voice your opinion.
Don't turn away from me.
Am I not your best friend.
I thought we could talk about anything.
Please don't cry
And don't be angry.
Why not just let me in
And we can talk about things.
Maybe I can help you
And maybe ease your pain.
Let me in
And I promise I'll do whatever it takes
To make everything okay.
In every way.

Let me in, I want to help you.
I see your pain - I can feel it, too.
Let me in, please open your heart.
Tell me everything,
Let me in ... to the fortress of your heart's enchant
That cheats and connives and invents sable night,
That darkens the gables

My mouth moves when heads start to roll
People are pointing, some are mocking

Knock, knock
Let me in
You can't shut me out forever
Here I've always been
Knock, knock
Open your heart
Don't you remember
I've
To a true love
The words of three
Let me in
Should never have to be said
Only acted upon
By their love they have for
