Yes aussie rules is rare these days on american t.v. If you have directv you can get a sports channel called Setanta. They show a whole bunch of different sports from outside the U.S. I am a rabid Aussie rules fan. Aussie rules is like rugby with more scoring. Until 2005 Fox Soccer channel showed some aussie rules, until they stopped so they could concentrate on just showing soccer. Sorry soccer(football) fans I have tried to get into your game, but a game that has a final score of 3 to 2, and that's considered a high score. No that's not for me. I now know why british soccer fans sing all through the match. There are so few scoring chances they have to do something to keep from getting bored. I have dish network which has no aussie rules and that may change when I get my taxes back. Looks like I may be going back to directv. I read an article online that stated that 8 million americans watched aussie rules. It's nice to know that so many feel my pain.
