What will happen to our society if the structure of family breaks down?

I can't help but agree to a very great degree with others who've written here on this subject.

This began many hundreds of years ago in a garden and because of that incident the path has been steadily downhill gaining momentum as history rolls on. Generation after generation see's their own contribution to the film play. You see, I am a believer in the God of creation. In His story He tells us that there is nothing new under the sun. With that said allow me now to introduce something quite interesting.

I don't know how many here ever heard of "The Fourth Turning" by William Strauss and Neil Howe.

Based on a theory of American history as a series of recurring 80- to 100-year cycles. Each cycle has four "turnings", the first turning is a "high" cycle when all is peaceful with plenty for all , then near the next called, "awakening" fourth when things begin to get immoral with lack and recession until the third fourth "unraveling" when all is in upheaval and weakening institutions the old civic order decays and the new values regime implants. We enter into the fourth or "crisis" where America appears to be going into at this time with about a decade remaining before the crisis hits.

We used to believe that as a team we had strength but at this time we think of ourselves as being entitled. Instead of giving thanks for someone who has performed some emergency task to save a life, we now look for how we can sue. We don't teach by example anymore, our children learn how to be crooks, liars and cheats by watching parents and neighbors. Go ahead put your foot on the gas and show your son how dad don't pay attention to the law. America is bottoming out right now, no use to worry about the future destruction of society, the future is here.

Every Empire that has fallen did so as that empire became increasingly corrupt and devastatingly immoral.

My question to the reader is this, "How is it that we fail to see, that our growing disdain for God and the things of God are the very things that breaks down a society?" I will be happy to tell you "why". Don't get angry with me but the answer is simple.

The very thing that caused the fall of the most anointed cherub in God's kingdom is the culprit. It's known as "Pride". If you follow through with all the reasons why terrible things happen to nations you will find this pride at the very base. The "love of money" is the root of all evil, mark this it is not
