Ever wondered why that other woman in tight skirts completed her double-cart shopping in half the time it took you to complete your single cart pick-up? Or why you end up with muscle pulls and foot-aches post departmental store shopping?
Its simple actually. That other woman is a yoga regular and you are not.
She has the advantage of all the benefits yoga has to offer. Her body's flexibility and energy levels are in top form. She can easily wiggle through all those narrow aisles and reach out to the high shelves with an unholy ease. Not to mention her suave confidence as she breezes through the store, as fresh as a daisy, while you huff and puff your way through the necessary weekend chore.
Hey, if you feel in the dumps after each Walmart experience, then you ought to think 'yoga'!
The breathing and mind control exercises of yoga help you become organised and calm. Yoga instils a discipline that is bound to change your life forever. Gone will be the days of aisle-hopping or indecisiveness. You have it all on your mind or jotted down in your PDA, cutting down your shopping by quarters and halves. No panting and no shortness of breath, as you prattle away with your kids, while picking up what you want off the shelves.
Yoga asanas endow you with body flexibility. So you can say goodbye to muscle pulls and foot pains. Your kids are also going to love your enhanced energy levels. Suddenly, you find yourself enjoying your shopping experience, even feel kind of a super mom and a svelte woman, with your new-found confidence.
How best to chose a yoga instructor? Go for one whose timings and location are most convenient for you. On the way from work or your kid's school, or right next to your local Walmart. Whatever, yoga is just the thing for you if you want to change how you live and enjoy your life. So go for it!
