Songs: Storms

You caused the storm in my life when you left.

The flood of tears streamed down my face.

The winds of dismay blew loud and fierce.

You caused the storm in my life, but I am still here.

Storms are synonymous with trouble.

You left me on Trouble Avenue to fend for myself.

I didn't know which way to navigate, but I found the answer.

It was in moving forward- straight.

You caused the storm in my life when you left.

The flood of tears streamed down my face.

The winds of dismay blew loud and fierce.

You caused the storm in my life, but I am still here.

As I moved from nothingness to somethingness

I knew I was headed out of your created storm.

I was moving straight ahead to the destiny for which I was born.

You no longer could keep me for fulfilling my desires to rise above the storm.

You caused the storm in my life when you left.

The flood of tears streamed down my face.

The winds of dismay blew loud and fierce.

Yes, you caused the storm in my life, but I am still here.

Everything at first seemed to topple and I felt my power go off.

What was connected, disconnected and left me looking for a power source.

I found it in God, the Creator of both you and me.

He got me back on track quickly and now I can plainly see.

You cause the storm in my life when you left.

The flood of tears streamed down my face.

The winds of dismay blew loud and fierce.

Yes, you cause the storm in my life, but "Praise God" I am still here.

    Cloudless Storm

    The sky is blue,

    All I needed,
