One of the things that has improve the goblin tribe in the last years of magic the gathering is tokens. This is because the typical goblin has always been a 1/1 creature but those creatures in the past were cards and because those required cards which mean that there was a very limited number of creatures that you could put out, but with tokens you are only limited by the amount of mana and the cards that create them.
Weirding Shaman is a rare goblin shaman from the morningtide expansion set of magic the gathering. It is a 2/1 creature that costs one black and one colorless and has a ability to make tokens that is very valuable. This ability costs one black and three colorless, and you must sacrifice a goblin, for this you put two 1/1 goblin rogue tokens into play. This does not require the creature to tap so as long as you can pay the mana you can continue to put tokens into play.
This ability to play the card multiple times, each time gaining an addition 1/1 creature is valuable, but paying four mana for a net gain of only one goblin is high. That is why it is important to learn to use this card correctly. It is of course possible to use this simply as a engine for tokens and to be of some value, but even more useful is to use it to gain value out of goblins that were already going to die. Consider a situation where your opponent has 2 3/3 creatures and you have six 1/1 goblin, under normal circumstances it would be very difficult for you to attack because you would lose two creatures, but in the same circumstances except that you add in this card you could sacrifice one of the two goblins that were blocked and replace both of your losses, as well as having two untapped creatures which can block if necessary, and as your mana goes up the number of goblins can easily go up as well since there is no reason that you couldn't pay eight mana to put four tokens into play when both of them are blocked.
This is of course a creature that is easy to kill, but all two mana creatures are easy to kill, and beyond being an excellent way to put more goblin tokens into play it also is able to attack for two damage itself. This is as much damage as you can expect out of the average two mana creature making it an all around useful goblin.
