First I would like to state that I would like a third choice, a sinister transformation of our country. It can be said that the progressive movement was more than smitten with the junior senator from Illinois. The President's ideas and policies are not just far away from the traditional democrats but those of our founding founders. Everyone Mr. Obama has around him are socialist, radical, Maoist progressives. These advisors have spoken out against freedom of speech, the press, and the second amendment. Two months before the election Senator Obama said quote "we are two months away from fundamentally transforming this country. I think I would have preferred same old democrat ideas.

The progressive, or statist ideology is one of total devotion to the collective at the expense and loss of the individual. They believe that they know what's best for you. That a massive federal government is the cure for all of our problems. They encourage "diversity of opinions except those that conflict with theirs. "Spreading the wealth" and "leveling the playing field" are big themes everywhere in this White House. Every policy put out so far from the executive branch has failed. Now it is a mad struggle for control of one sixed of our economy with health care "reform".

The bedrock of the traditional democrat is the working man and woman. That foundation is shattered by the proposed cap and trade legislation. The bill according to the United States Chamber of Commerce will increase the average household utility costs by almost a thousand dollars a month. Industries who consume large amounts of energy will be hit worse. No company is going to expand and create jobs when it's more expensive just to operate. We bailed out the banks and they not lending especially to small businesses. How is that helping? It was learned today that the "cash for clunkers" program cost the United States taxpayer twenty four thousand dollars for every four grand voucher. The two eight hundred pound gorillas Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid are near bankruptcy. Do you still want the government in control of health care?

The American idea of self reliance is gone when you are too big to fail. Our free market system is in the in the cross hairs. How can we have open debate when we who oppose the President's policies are mocked? How can we have a free society if news organizations are deemed not one by the executive branch?
