How work experience provides an opportunity to get a "foot in the door"

When a business is looking for people to perform a job, they are looking for people who are going to do the best job, and a job that isn't going to cause any problems. They are going to be looking for those who have work experience simply because it proves that they have done the job in the past. This typically means that they have the training, and the skills needed to do the job. These reasons are why a business will allow workers who have experience to do the job.

This means that in order to get jobs that are going to advance your career, you need to have some sort of working experience. This is why you have to start at the bottom somewhere, so you can get that work experience, and get the skills that you need to move up in the world. It isn't because people don't like you, but you have to have that experience so that you can get the track record that you need in order to have the tools needed for the job.

You also have to know people in order to get a job. I hate to say it, but work really is as much who you know as what you know. Some people can claim that management tends to play favorites, but the best are going to rise to the top. The best are also going to get the most opportunities. More importantly though, they will catch the eye of the boss, and stay stuck in the head of the boss meaning that when the boss needs a job done, he is going to pluck the first name that comes to mind.

If that name is you name, it can mean more opportunities for you. It is all a result of that work experience that you have, and will continue to gain. That is how you get your foot in the door, by being around, and doing the job. It also means that you have started to meet the people that are going to get you in the door as well.

Experience also makes us a better worker, and gives us a better confidence base. When you come to the door looking for a job, you need some skills, and the ability to communicate those skills. Having experience will keep that door open for you, but the confidence to do the job, and to compete with others for the job will get you into the door, and hopefully keep you inside for awhile.

if you think you want to get a great job, you should either look for a company that is just starting out, and needs to fill positions with inexperienced people, or get some work in while you go to school. It will teach you about the real world, and it will help you get your foot in the door. Once you meet people, and start a work history, you are going to find it much easier to find jobs.
