Are you new to Helium? Maybe you are an experienced Helium member, but are just looking for something that you can do to increase your productivity. Whatever you are looking to do, there are easy ways to do more, and get more out of your time spent here on Helium. The best thing you can do is to improve your time management. Even if you just are here to peruse the forums, or looking for a good title, you can still do more with good time management.

The first thing that you need to do is to go ahead and plan your time out wisely. You are going to want to set aside some time where all you are going to do is write. This helps your focus a little better when you are using Helium, and it helps eliminate any distractions when you are trying to write. Everyone should know that this is your writing time, and that there won't be anything else going on.

When you are using Helium, there are things to do besides just writing. You can peruse the forums, or look for contests to enter into. This all consumes time, but have good benefits to them. Using the forums allows you to be informed about what is going on here at Helium, and it allows you to network with other members. Searching for titles, or contests might lead you to some good topics, or maybe spur you to create new titles.

Just make sure that you have a plan for when you are using Helium. A good rule is that if you are going to spend an hour on Helium, that you should try to use the first 45 minutes or so writing, and the other 15 just looking around. It gives you a break from writing, and allows you to delve into other areas of the site that are also beneficial to you in the long term. Another good tip for writing is to use tabs, and that way you can find more articles, and then write to more than one at a time if you want.

It creates a balance for you, and it creates a routine. Once of the easiest way to manage time is to break it down into structured chunks. Have some time for your writing, and some time for your use of the site. Leave some time for research, and other time for writing the article. Once you get into a good rhythm with that, you will see that you are writing more than you did before.

Time management is all about routine, discipline, and getting focused. If you are able to do that, you are going to be able to get a lot of work done for yourself, and increase your productivity. That will help you get more done, and get more out of the site itself. Who doesn't want to get more done in less time?
