"Vendilion Clique" is a 3/1 blue legendary faerie wizard creature printed as a rare for the Magic the Gathering expansion set known as "Morningtide." This is a card that would seem to be good in a wizard and/or faerie-themed deck. From the looks of the Vendilion Clique, this is a card that is best used in a control deck with blue cards for the most part. If you know what you are doing, you can definitely get a lot out of the Vendilion Clique. Put this in the right deck and you can mess up the momentum of any aggressive player.

The converted mana cost for Vendilion Clique is three. You will need two blue mana and one colorless mana to bring Vendilion Clique onto the battlefield. For what Vendilion Clique can do, the converted mana cost is well worth it. This is due to the Vendilion Clique having a combination of some great abilities. Used with the right cards, Vendilion Clique can become an opponent's worst nightmare.

What does Vendilion Clique do in the first place?

The first ability of the Vendilion Clique is Flash. It means that you can play Vendilion Clique at any time you can play an instant spell. What this means is you can play this at any given time during the game. You do not have to wait your turn to play the Vendilion Clique.

The second ability is Flying. If you attack with Vendilion Clique and your opponent has no Flying creatures, s/he is probably taking three points of combat damage.

The third and main ability lets you look at a target player's hand as soon as Vendilion Clique enters the battlefield. You get to pick a nonland card from that hand. The card that is picked is put at the bottom of the player's library. S/he gets to draw a card afterwards.

One can ask: How do you get the most out of the Vendilion Clique?

To get the most out of this card, you want to have a control deck with blue cards. You want cards such as artifacts that send creatures back to your hand. Some mana acceleration might not hurt because it increases your chances of using a combination with Vendilion Clique. You can play Vendilion Clique, do the process of picking a player, looking at his/her hand, send the card to the bottom of his/her library, use an artifact such as "Erratic Portal" to send Vendilion Clique back to your hand, pay the mana cost, put Vendilion Clique back onto the battlefield, and repeat the process.

When you carefully think about the abilities of Vendilion Clique, you can abuse the abilities with a combination of other cards. That should keep opponents from being able to play some bothersome spells.

Overall, this is a good card. However, this is not a card meant to be played aggressively with. You want to be able to use a control deck for Vendilion Clique.
