Walking and spirituality...

*No walk in life is easy without God:

A person's walk in life is full of turmoils, tragedies, struggles, and misfortunes, many times we wonder how we can take one step forward without falling apart. We feel insecurities, lack of self-esteem, self-confidence, and why we have to face so much in our lives? We've always been good people and we've striven to do the best we can for our fellow-man, we've been good parents, and we've worked hard to keep a good moral life. We sometimes become so resentful from the situation we are in that we try to question God as to why we've been put through so much sufferings. Readers, never give up...God answers when we call upon Him!

When we keep God in our daily regimen of conversation, we know that He gives us peace and tranquility as we communicate with Him. Many times we do not seek His presence because we feel He has forgotten us. When this happens, we should think of the verses in our Bibles, Psalm 121:3, "He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: He that keepeth thee will not slumber," and Exodus 33:14, "And He said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest."

*Keep Our eyes and mind focused on God:

We need to be reminded that our Heavenly Father is ready to help us through our lives and no matter how many turmoils we face He will be there to respond. It is up to us to realize many hardships we face in life help us to grow and to become more mature and better capable to accept life in general. God did not promise us a life of luxuries, and without struggles in it, but He did promise "His Children" that He would never forsake them. We should allow ourselves to know that God still speaks to us and we should be still and listen to His words. We should not become disgruntled and weary but believe in His words and allow them to guide us into another day.

When we walk in the path of trials and tribulations, we need to allow our minds to repeat what it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is nigh unto them that are broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit," and we should be aware to keep our eyes and minds focused on God's Holy Spirit that lives in all of "His Children's" souls and to keep our thoughts on Him, His love, and His almighty power to guide each and everyone of us.
