If I should die today
Please don't be sad.
I shared my joy with all I met
So I will continue on.
In memories and stories
Some remembered with sadness
A great deal with laughter
And a few with lessons learned.
My thoughts and sayings
Will be heard from ear to ear
And repeated from mouth to mouth
All full of spirit and joy
And the hope and strength for others to continue.
So if I should die today
I die with peace
Knowing I gave to all I met
All the goodness that I have.

Poetry: If I die today
If I die today
I hope that I have shown in every way
How much I love them, how much I care
That my life would not be the same
If I should die today
And memories came my way
I would think of her first
She who made my heart burst
My wife and
If I die today and looked truly dead
Would someone come in and make the bed.
And while you're washing my dirty dishes
Know
Your world won't implode.
Your soul won't begin to decay
if I should die some time today.
Diseases and disharmony
will
If I die today and my life were over,
What will you remember?
Am I someone you will miss?
How will you choose to reminisce?
