Poetry: Forgiveness

by Kay Cchui

Created on: October 29, 2009

I reminded you, friend, when you complained

Of your mother which you must contain

For your hatred and anger so deep

Why not just try and forgive?

Your anger to everyone you imparted

Till your dear mother departed

Still your hatred and anger stay

Peace and happiness cannot find the way

Now my friend, you are filled with sickness

Where in your mind is there a place for happiness

For without forgiveness there can only be sadness
