I Knew You're A Fighter
The first second you were born, I knew you're a fighter.
Your first cry, your first sucking, and your first touch on my body tell it all.
Even when you remained calm when the syringe needle stung you,
even when you tried hard to get back to sleep,
even when you kicked me and pulled my hair happily,
even when you tried to soothe yourself when nobody could,
even when you held up the hunger by sipping your finger,
I always knew you're a fighter.
Now I'm standing beside you, and I will always be proud of you.
