My thoughts tend to flow forth all the more fresh when I am in motion. Being both an amateur writer, and a semi-serious photographer I understand and can appreciate the value of anything which generates a constant influx of new ideas, or way of looking at things. I am also an active Christian, and as such I know the value of finding quiet time to spend with no one but my Lord God, and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
Any given day can be fraught with frustration, whether from disagreements with loved ones, be they family, or friends, to conflicts at work, varying from project, or other work related difficulties, to irreconcilable differences between you and your fellow coworkers whether it's one of those "there's just something about him/her, that I don't like" or that dread office/workplace drama which seems to thrive at a person's workplace. Whatever is the source of physical, emotional, or spiritual headaches {the little stressor-outers of life} it can be hard for an individual in this increasingly stressful engine which we affectionately call modern day society to find a moment when we can go off by ourselves for just a little bit to unwind, to be ourselves, to spend time with one's creator. Whatever drives you, the core problem, is not so much lack of time, but finding that one, end-all-discussion excuse to just get out and go, and recharge.
I give you the walk. Tah-dah! Walking is the best ever contrived excuse to do just about anything which is beneficial for you, and I as individuals to go off and recollect ourselves. While not as energy recovering as sleep, for those who never really reach that stage of comfortable dreaming, and thus quality sleeping, the walk will serve you there as well. Now there are certain things which apply in walking as in all other areas of life: You have to pay attention to where you are going. This is especially true in a city. You don't want to get smucked by traffic, accosted by a thief, or crash into a light pole or fall into a pot hole (see trees, and gopher holes or related pit falls in the country). These and other considerations are necessary, but I figure that's probably a given, and if you're reading this you're already an avid walker and know this already, so why am I still talking about this?
Anyway, The walk allows you to say "hey_________" insert term for type of person i.e. honey, kids, big jerk of a boss, etc. "I'm going for a walk." Unless your lover is overly obsessive, your kids overly needy, or your boss is the
