The word can be complicated if you trying to get the exact meaning of it. The dictionary content 33 or more meanings of the word change.
Change is a nature of our reality, change can be a simple thing; change of place, change of decisions, change of status etc. we all experienced it. Are you afraid of change? Some time we are afraid of change, why? Maybe because we are already in a comfort zone of the situation we are currently have, we don't want it to change especially in drastic ways. We are afraid we will not be able to feel as comfort as now. For example we go to the same school since 1st grade, up to 5th grade, we know the school very well, we know the teachers, classmates and other student, we feel comfortable. Suddenly our parent gives you news that the family is moving to another town for some reasons. It means new school, friends an so on to you. You get scared to this sudden change. If you see in such a way, this change is actually is good. This means that you can have a lot more friends.
There is another time that you want this change and you need this change. You are a worker and you feel that your career is going no where; you want it to be changed right? You don't want to be in the same position or even in the same office anymore, you are looking for a new position or a new job in other company. This is meant that you are doing a change in your life and it quite a major change too. In this case you are not afraid of this change, because you are ready for the cause that the change will made to you.
Is change good or bad? Its really depends on how you look at it. In generally I think change is good. Because if you know that in nature things are change, then you can prepare your self to the change that might happen. If you experience this change quite often it will make you a person that can adapt to any situation change around you, I think this is an advantage. People that can adapt to a change are more likely to be success.
Lets take change into our daily life, change in our way of life, when we work, we can only move more advance if we change, the will be no promotion if we are working in constant style, 9-5 in your desk, doing what you told to do and that's it. Compare to a person that let say take a longer working our ( a change), be creative and perform beyond your ordinary tasks, its not like you have to do it, but you decide to do it, it's a change and you will see the result better and the end of the year
Other case is your health life style, your journey from a man or woman that never cares about your body and health, eat junk food, never hits gym and start to gain weight, pick up some disease along the process, then you decide to take action and start living a healthy life, going to the gym regularly, consume healthy food, and in the end you feel your body lighter, you energy is increase, you always look fresh, and you stay on your top performance. This is all due to change you make. Change from bad to good, not the opposite way. In the end I would like to say that change in positive way is good.
