Can I really make money on Google?

Google AdSense gives you the opportunity to make money by using the traffic to your website. The idea is quite simple and can be profitable. It works like this: You sign up for a Google AdSense account and generate code that you place into your HTML. The code generates content-appropriate advertising that Google places on your website. These ads, which are ads of interest to your website's visitors, based on the content of your website, generate money by page impressions and page clicks. Understanding how much money you make for impressions versus clicks is nearly impossible because that information varies depending upon the advertiser whose ad appears on your page, and those ads are constantly changing. If you have nothing better to do than study statistics, you can log into your Google AdSense account at any time and view the page impressions and page clicks to see what your earnings are. With your Google AdSense account, you can customize earnings reports and keep track of what you earn daily.

Before you jump in, though, realize that you won't make a lot of money if you don't get a lot of traffic on your website. In terms of numbers, you probably won't make anything if you aren't getting at least 1,000 visitors a day. If you have several websites offering valuable content, you can easily generate good money with Google AdSense. The key is in your websites and what they offer to the public, then getting those websites to rank high in the search engines. If you want to make a reasonable living with Google AdSense (and you can), you have to think of it in terms of a business. This means investing the time in creating a variety of websites that will draw visitors. It's a numbers game. The more visitors you have, the more clicks and impressions your websites will generate. The opportunity for making money is there.

A Google AdSense account isn't hard to manage. Google takes care of keeping track of your earnings and mails your check to you when your account balance reaches $100. The hard part of the business is building and maintaining the websites to place your Google ads on. This requires a little research to see what kind of websites are drawing visitors, then building those websites and keeping them filled with fresh content that will bring visitors back again and again. If you can find a niche market - something with a unique spin - so much the better. These are the types of websites that bring visitors in because you're offering something they can't get elsewhere.

Nothing beats the thrill of sitting on your couch in front of the TV, watching your favorite movie while you earn money, and with a little hard work in the beginning, you can build a stable of websites that will earn big dollars for you around the clock. Google AdSense is one of the most logical, straightforward methods of earning money on the Internet, and the best thing about it is that the opportunity is there for anyone with the determination to succeed.
