You can hear music everywhere. What kind of music do you like? Gospel, rap, blues, jazz, R & B, or rock-N-Roll are all forms and types of music. Each person has their choice of music that they like to listen to. I personally like to listen to different types of music, depending on my mood at the time. Most people have a favorite type of music. Music has a way of satisfying your spirit. Maybe you are feeling down, lonely, or sad, a song can lift your spirits up. The words to a song along with the melody is very important. When listening to the lyrics you may get a sense that the author had you personally in mind while writing the song.
How about the rock- n-roll music? The music is most times loud and is sung with a lot of energy. However even these songs can put your mind in a place that can lift your spirit. If you are ready for some excitement listen to some rock and start moving. I often wonder if the people that sing rock don't have a headache after they sing. The rap music has come upon the scene with a force. Rap music is a form of poems that rhyme along with a beat. Some of the songs bring a message and always have a special beat that if you close your eyes and just listen to the beat of the music your feet will often start tapping with the beat. Jazz music consists of a fast and slow pace of sounds that are enjoyable as well as soothing. Some of the words and melody are incredible and leave you thinking and feeling good.
Music is good for your soul. The words to songs seem to always tell a story. Whether its happy or sad, the writer of the songs are allowing us to view what is in their heart.
