A wayward step not taken
in a storm as yet unseen
a fleeting thought of what should be
instead of what has been
a hope, desire, pursuit
that which I think I need
replaced by reality gone past
and a voice I did not heed
from day to day I wander
through each and every turn
and though destiny precedes me
it is for assurance that I yearn
to know that which awaits me
to be sure of that ahead
would bring me rest unseen before
as I lie upon my bed
but the future brings no such peace
and I leave the unknown be
and bow down my will to know it all
to accept my destiny
and rest

By an ancient Civilization,

I decided to choose this subject...
