The kids are expecting lots of presents to be under the tree waiting for them on Christmas morning despite the economy. There are thousands of toys for the kids. Chances are that they want all of them and then some. What do you do when you are on a limited budget and want to fill the bottom of the tree with gifts for the kids? You begin searching for gifts under $10 to give them.
You can give your children things to encourage their imagination. Play dough, silly putty, and modeling clay all encourage children to use their imaginations. They can mold the dough into whatever they like and you can even bake some of the dough for them if they make something they want to keep. (Read directions carefully.) There are even play sets to go with the dough that can be found for under $10.
Food play sets are rather inexpensive. You can buy large sets of plastic food and food containers for the kids to play and learn from. Play money can be found for less than $10 and your children can use it to open a pretend grocery store.
Puzzles. There are puzzles for all age ranges no matter how young the child. These puzzles can be gotten for less than $10 at almost any store that you go to. If you have a child that loves learning you can easily find them workbooks for less than $10 that aid them in their efforts.
Clothing is easily found at under $10 for children. Shirts, pants, dresses and shoes are easy to find for kids at a cost of less than $10 depending on where you shop. If you don't mind finding clothing on a clearance rack you can get more than one piece of clothing for your child at less than $10.
Is your child into computer or video games? If you search carefully you can find a number of games for these at less than $10 to give your child. You will have to go to more than one store, watch the sales and possibly buy them a used game to achieve this. With kids tiring of games in a week or so they probably won't care as long as it works.
Gifts for kids can be gotten for less than $10 easily. You just have to keep the child's age in mind when you're looking. A ten year old isn't likely to want the same thing as a two year old. When you begin the search be sure to ask your children what they want first, this is the easiest way to begin the search for gifts under $10 to give to children.
