Winter has some of the hottest shoe styles around! Not only are great knee high boots, ankle boots, fashionable pumps and even flats available, but they blend in perfectly with the best winter fashions of sweater dresses, long cardigans, trench coats and blouses. Here are some styles you should keep in mind, and who knows, maybe your overall style would change as well.
Kitten Heel Pumps -
This were introduced in the 1940's and have been embraced by the fashion world ever since then! With a low two inch heel, they are very comfortable and forming to your feet. They look very good with a long winter trench and a nice dress underneath. With such a sophisticated air about them, the style of dress should follow. They'll make you feel older and more mature right as you step out the door in them!
Slouch Boots -
These never turn out of season, especially since they'll always look great with a mini skirt and some stockings or tights. They fit the winter theme wonderfully, especially in white, beige, grey, and of course classic black. A pair of slouch boots should be in every woman's closet for the fall and winter seasons alike!
Wedge heels -
These are a much more cozy alternative to a high heeled shoe. They're so comfortable and easy to walk in, and look great with a pair of jeans and a comfy sweater. They give a much more relaxed vibe so they're perfect for an on the go outing in winter weather.
Thick High Heeled Boots -
These look great with an assortment of dresses and long coats! Wearing a pair of thick heeled boots, maybe even with a bow accent towards the bottom of the shoe gives a fun and only one of its kind twist to your winter wardrobe. You can mix and match them with different kinds of clothes and since the heel is thick, don't worry about them breaking off anytime soon!
Buckled Pumps -
Pumps with buckle straps can be great with any outfit! Jeans, skirts, dresses, you name it. They are great for shopping or the office. It all depends on how you can pull off the pump, just make sure not to strap it too tightly or else they can be a hassle taking off! They are such a great alternative for people who tire of the same old plain pump and want an accent on top of theirs, for a little extra icing on the cake!
Winter shoe styles can not only be worn during winter months, but also fall, even spring! And these styles will never go out of fashion, so be sure to keep them in closet.
