Who are you to judge others?

There is no need for me to judge others.  I do not see any point judging others.  I am not better than others, or I am not different from others.  In fact, I am the same as others.  I am fresh and blood as others, and I belong the same race as others: the human race.  I make mistakes as others, but I can also learn from the mistake and better myself as others.  Also, according to the Bible and evolution, I came from one source as others.  Therefore, I do not need to judge others, especially the meaningless matters in the following.

Judging others based on their exterior appearance is meaningless. People who put on elegant clothes or look attractive do not mean that they are upstanding people. I cannot tell if people who dress poorly or look unattractive are honest people or not. I do not know who they are. I do not know what they have gone through in life just by looking and judging what they wear. Therefore, it is pointless for me to judge others based on exterior appearance.

Judging others based on material things and status is also meaningless.  Individuals who do not have things at certain ages do not mean that I can judge them.  I understand that individuals have unexpected journey in life.  Also, I understand that individuals have a choice to make what they want to do and what they want to have in life.  Therefore, I cannot judge others based on material things and their status.  It is pointless.

Similarly, judging others based on which culture that they are from is also useless. I believe every culture has good and bad people, educated and uneducated people. To say that one or more cultures are bad or good, uneducated or educated is stereotyping. In God's eyes, He sees everyone is no better than the others. He treats everyone equality regardless of his or her skin color.

I do not need to judge others since judging them does not solve anything.  It does not change their choices in life.  Instead, it might create hatred toward me.  They might turn around and judge me from their viewpoint. The Bible tells us that we have to look into ourselves and walk right with God first before removing other peoples' mistakes and problems (Matthew 7: 5). If we do not, others will judge us with the same measure that we use (Matthew 7: 1-2).

Does that mean I can just leave others alone even though they mistakes? No.  The Bible mentions speaking and judging fairly to everyone (Proverbs 31:9).  For instance, we should not judge them without any justification. We should not twist justice or show any favoritism toward anyone if we are going to judge (Leviticus 19: 15).  Besides that, I can also give advices to others before they make up their mind.  In addition, I can also try to learn, and understand others’ opinions while sharing each other’s opinions too.  This way, I can learn something new from others, which I can gain more understanding.
