Dry skin can be a constant battle for many, and while everyone seems to think that moisturising is enough to do the job, it sometimes may be not. This is where homemade exfoliators for dry skin comes in, it is a great alternative to the products out there which contain many chemicals and really do not help, for one that anyone can make at home to banish dry skin.
Take a warm bath or shower before using any of these scrubs in order for it to soften your skin in order to make it easier for the scrub to slough away dead skin cells and boost blood circulation. Using a small amount in the palm of your hands, scrub your body to reveal your new skin. Make sure you have a rinse after, though do not use soap. Pat, not rub dry as this will lock in moisture. Apply a liberal amount of olive oil onto the skin to keep your skin soft so it will be less prone to dry skin. Use the scrubs 2-3 times per week for best results.
