Poetry: The reason for my tears

I can see.

I'm done with doing, looking back,
thats why I broke my foot en-route,
I should be loving looking forth,
and watching where I place my boot,
no hill God made, nor mountain top,
was placed on Earth to frighten me,
but set so man would never stop,
in his pursuit of feeling free.

I'm taking strides and moving on,
if you're behind you'll catch me soon,
and if in front then see me come,
I plan to clasp the stars and moon.
I plan to breathe in frozen air,
while looking to all down below,
the frozen spreading into green,
and I'll enjoy my life I know.

I'll never miss, something I had,
since having means I did not miss,
but rather knew, as it was meant,
a moments pain or utter bliss.
The secret is not making first,
but meeting your own inner goals,
the hill be mine, though climbed before,
and all men feel the heat of coals.
