Somewhere along the way, my husband and I started referring to meeting each other's needs as "filling each other's bowls". My husband, however, insists that I don't have bowls. He says I have strainers instead! So, I wrote him this song.
STRAINER LOVE
When you pour it in you say it drains right out
It probably does, there is no doubt
But pour it in
Keep pouring it in
Cause you are so good at doing things
That make me feel like I'm all you need
You have your ways of loving me
They're rich and they're thick
And they drain slowly
And I know that you love me
We've been together for quite some time
What's mine is yours
What's yours is mine
Loving you is oh so sweet
Every need I have
You try to meet
And I know that you love me
When you pour it in you say it drains right out
It probably does, there is no doubt
But pour it in
Keep pouring it in

Love has no beginning
No end-no in between,
Can perform a miracle,
