Rain drops falling on the roof
thunder vibrating through me
lightning bolting in a poof
I feel like a tall oak tree
swaying in the wind
the sky a purplish blue
an eerie feeling of danger has no end
birds screaming as they flew
temptation of evil lurks
around the corner from the storm
too many of Satan's quirks
redemption will take it's form
branches gray with gloomy eyes
treasures under ground reek
sighs of lonely cries
death surrounds strangers in the street

lightning bolting in a poof
I feel like a tall oak tree
