Because the swine flu is, in ways, like every ofter virus there is no medication they can give to stop or heal you. Though, there is something that you can do to lesson your chance of catching the swine flu as well as increasing you own bodies ability to fight it off and possibly get better faster.

There are many anti viral Herbs out there that can help to stimulate your immune system fighting off the sickness faster and decreasing your chances of a fatal out come. My whole family has had the swine flu and are now over it. Here are the tips i have to make your sickness easier.

Herbs that will help:

Echinacea is one of the strongest antiviral herbs out there. It can be bought as a capsule or as a tea to help getting over the flu.

Goldenseal is also an immune stimulant, often found in capsules in store with echinacea giving a double punch to the virus.

Peppermint supports the body's immune system, and can also help with breaking up mucus if drank in a tea.

Herbs should be drank and taken starting at the first sign of sickness so if you or a family member gets a fever of something be sure to have these herbs or teas containing these herbs on hand and ready to be given to the sick person.

other things that you could do are

Make sure you have enough fluids, one of the cases of death with the swine flu is dehydration.

Rest as much as possible.

Take vitamins if you are not eating much because you body needs those things.

drink things like Gatorade, Powerade, it has electrolytes in it that is very helpful to a sick person.

Most of all stay clean wash your hand a lot, use anti bacterial hand gels, spray with disinfectants to keep as much of your home germ free as possible. Was bedding after sickness begins and after sickness ends. Do what you can to keep this flu from spreading so quickly. The spread of a illness depends on a persons cleanliness and if they wash their hands often, drink after others, and so on. Do what you can to keep from getting sick. Echinacea can be taken when you first find out that you have been exposed to the flu. It may help you from even getting sick in the first place. We need to teach our children and others the best way of fighting germs and to keep there germs to themselves, if we wish to slow down have fast the germs will spread.
