If you are new to Rochester, or are simply looking for something fun to do on a first date, there are many options for you. Luckily for us, Rochester is a fairly diverse place when it comes to activities that you can do with someone. As long as your date is open to things, and is willing to do a variety of things, you should have no problem finding a place that you and your date will have fun at.

Rochester is a very art intense area. If you or your date are interested in art, or interested in learning more, there are several places that you can go. You can go to the Little Theater, where they specialize in independent, and other shorter films that might not be playing in larger theaters. There is also the Memorial Art Gallery, and several other shows and festivals that come to Rochester throughout the year as well.

Are you a history buff? There are many things that you can do to satisfy that urge to explore history, especially the history of Rochester. There is the George Eastman house that you can go to, and see the history of the man who created Kodak, and put Rochester on the map for a little while. There is also the Susan B. Anthony house, and other historic sites such as the Erie Canal that can be toured.

Do you like sports? This time of year is great for sports, but there are many sports going on year round. Whether you are looking for a hockey game, or a baseball game, Rochester has you covered in both areas. The Red Wings play in the summer, and Amerks play in the winter at the Blue Cross Arena. There are also the Rhinos in soccer, and the RazorSharks in basketball.

Rochester also has plenty of bars, restaurants, and clubs that you can go to with a date. There are also many golf courses, bowling alleys, and movie theaters to check out as well. There are literally a million places that you can go to on a first date and you wouldn't go wrong. First dates are great because you don't really have to do too much in order to have fun.

Rochester is a very diverse area, and there are plenty of things to do on a Saturday night around town, or any night for that matter. As long as you are open to doing things, and maybe even expanding your horizons, you can easily find a good place for a first date in Rochester.
