I AM A HUMAN BEING

I am a human being,
I can feel and react with love and
compassion toward others and myself.
I can feel joy, pride, and hope in deeds
done by others and myself.

I am a human being
I can feel and react with mistrust and
anger toward others and myself.
I can feel frustration, fear, and despair
in deeds done by others and myself.

I am a human being
I cannot always control the way
I feel and react.
I can only try my best to be honest in
knowing both sides of others and myself.
Then I can try to overcome the side I dislike.

I am a human being.
I could have been an animal or a plant.
Both can also feel and react.
I thank you God, for making me a human being.
I pray that we do not displease or disappoint each other.
