There is one actress who has led a most colorful life, on screen and off. She is the most beautiful actress in the world, to me, and, I'm sure, many, many other people.
Elizabeth Taylor, with her violet eyes, would make a true friend.
She has true love in her heart. At the memorial for Michael Jackson, her beautiful eyes were red, meaning that she was not ashamed if anyone saw her grieving her dear friend. In other words, if she had had an eye infection, she wouldn't have been out wanting her public to see her in that condition.
Sure, she's been married several times but, so has my sister. It's just that Ms. Taylor is in the public eye and my sister's not and at any rate, my sister apparently didn't care what anyone thought. So, perhaps that is the case with Ms. Taylor. My sister and I remained friends and if there's a chance she'll burst in the door with a surprise, we will still be friends. Anyhow...
Ms. Taylor just seems to be a down-to-earth sort of person. How I can grab that, I do not know. She has all the jewelry she could ever want, she could still have any man she wanted, be he old, young, fat, skinny, rich, poor and on and on; the type food she craves; clothes; and cars. But, the one thing I would wish for her the most would be good health.
Her work with AIDS Foundation is a feather in her cap. She has had friends to die with this hateful disease and that makes me have even more compassion for her.
The bottom line is that she has been through so much in her lifetime even though she is beautiful and rich, she still has a heart.
Sure, she and Eddie Fisher were front page news and Debbie Reynolds won the hearts of Americans during this time. But, look at Debbie. She was a movie star, a mother and had a family to care for. This is not nice to say but, if they were all friends, Debbie should have told Ms. Taylor to take care of Eddie so she could get some of the extra work done. That's what I wanted to say when my mother told me my husband was seeing another woman. My mother was horrifed but, it didn't bother me. I never had any time for myself. I went from home to work then from work to home, working, without his help. That other woman could have cut me some slack.
Anyway, Ms. Taylor ended up with him but that is neither here nor there, now.
She, indeed, loved Mike Todd. In fact, I truly believe she loved all the men she married. It's just that maybe she wasn't the marrying kind. Now, Larry Fortenski, is a horse of another color. They needed each other after being at the Center together.
I'm not attempting to analyze her. I am trying to reason out why she would make a true friend and that is, because she has true love in her heart for people.
