Winter coats come in many various styles and trends every year, including elegant trench coats, short fleece jackets and among others. But what if you're a sporty individual with a lot of spunk, who just can't wear a long leather jacket for a skiing or mountain climbing trip! Well, there are even coats for you, that are not only warm, easy to move in, and look great! Here are some specific coats from different brands to give you a set idea on what you would find useful.
Arcteryx Hercules Jacket -
These come in men's and women's sizes and are actually very cozy and comfortable, without looking too heavy and puffy! It is somewhat more snugly fit to your body with long shag fleece, this circulates your body heat and keeps moisture out as well. Its heavily insulated on the inside, enough to keep you warm even during mountain treks! Sure it may be a bit pricy but you absolutely get what you pay for with this jacket, you'll feel the most comfortable in its design.
Mountain Hard Wear Lodown Winter Jacket -
This one is perfect for skiing or as the name suggests, mountain exploring and climbing. Its exterior is quite puffy which helps the snow slide off with ease. Great for keeping rain off your body as well. Its well insulated with goose down, and its stretch arm cuffs seal in the warmth. Although it is on the puffy side it is not too big and bulgy and looks actually a bit stylish!
The North Face Pamir Wind Stopper Jacket -
This coat is for the men, and as the name suggests its perfect for windy storming weather, snow or rain! It lets moisture escape without finding its way back in and the extra layers built in the coat provide the cold harsh wind from entering. Great for skiing or a hiking trail on a cold winter day. Its performance fit and adjustable cuffs add to the overall style of it!
Cloudveil Madison Quilted Jacket -
This is a coat for women who love to be sporty but want to show off their feminine soft side at the same time! It comes in cream or pink and has a nice lovely pattern shown on it, somewhat resembles roses. And since it is quilted, its quite a body heater! So its perfect for any winter sport you see fit. The fabric has a non stick grip so the snow will slide off every time it attempts to lay its way on you! This is a great coat for sports enthusiasts who want to show their fashion chic style as well.
There are many more nice sports coats out there for the winter months, hopefully these coats gave you an idea what would be perfect for you!
