The Amazing Trip to Belfast
With time Belfast has become one of the favorite tourist destinations in the world. Visitors come here thought out the year to enjoy various attractions and activities. The city is the largest city of Northern Ireland as well as the capital. The city depicts rich cultural values and artistic life. There are many places to visit and many thrilling things to do when you are in Belfast. There are many organizations which work together in order to ensure that the visitors fully enjoy their stay because tourism is a very important part of the economy.
Cultural Centers
There are many places in Belfast which reflects the culture and art of the city. Places like Crescent Art Center, Ormeau Baths Gallery, and the Grand Opera House, the King's Hall, the Ulster House and many others are known venues for arts, demonstrations, concerts, exhibitions, ancient pieces and other attractive activities to keep the visitors engaged.
Historical Representation
There are numerous places in Belfast which takes you back in time. From churches to homes, all of them will give you a good historical background. Some of the places worth visiting are the City Hall, Carrrickfergus Castle, Crown Liquor Salon, and Giant's Ring. Some of them are known for their historical landmark designed to give a look of ancient times.
Spectacular Sights
The city has got many amazing sights and views of sculptures, historical landmarks, water fountains, and statues to name a few. The most popular is the Botanic Gardens which have got lush green plantation, flowerbeds, and exotic pathways. The other one is the Donegall Square which is a must watch for every visitor. The place is a very important part of the city and has got everything from business to dining services. Queen's university Belfast is the oldest building built with red bricks and sand stones and has got historical importance. At The Grand Opera House you can swing to the performances of diverse musicians and ballet dancers.
Shopping
Anywhere you go, this is one place which excites most of the female companions. The South of Belfast is the best venue for all shopaholics. There you can find anything and everything. There are all kinds of shops, boutiques, designer stores, accessories, interiors, jewelry collection and book stores from which you can choose to buy. The Lisburn Road holds many designer stores and boutiques and is the best venue if you want to hunt down some big brands. Botanic Avenue offers second hand fashion and books which are sold at lower prices. The place is always crowded with locals and visitors. For those who have a special interest in antique pieces must go to Donegall Pass where you can find various stores selling the antique of Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian pieces.
Belfast is one of the amazing destinations to visit. The city is very warm towards its tourist who come to spend their time roaming around the museums, artistic galleries, restaurants, shopping districts and many other activities which keep them occupied through out.
