HELL YES!

Wow. I looked this story up online before writing this. After what I read. Yes they need to be charged for murder as adults.

And they don't need to be charged lightly either. They knew exactly what they were doing when they did it. The news article clearly stated that they were drinking when they decided to act out the game. Notice there I said THEY DECIDED. That means they had to actually sit there and think about what they were gonna do before they did it. Technically that can be considered pre-meditated murder. Because they had to sit and think about their actions before they did them.

Will I blame the video game? Not at all. That game has been out since I was a kid. But back then we knew the difference between entertainment and real life. Our parents actually talked to us and spent time with us. Hell in my family playing video games was a family time thing. We'd gather around, and have fun together playing rounds.

Now days. Parents will give their kids whatever they can and what ever it takes to get their kids away from them. Yet the swear up and down they love them. Which is clearly not true.

And in the article. It said that they were watching the little girl and drinking before they decided to act out the game... So not only were they young and stupid, and influenced by video games probably due to lack of parental guidance. They were drunk and stupid along with being influenced by video games due to a lack of parental guidance...

What I would also like to see is the parents charged simply for neglect. I mean yeah in all honesty they weren't the ones that killed the little girl. However. They did neglect to protect their kids and monitor what they did. That part is their fault.

Were never gonna get rid of violent video games. The business for it is worth too much. There's no way it'll go away. And the ratings on the box ONLY prevent kids from buying them. And in most states parents are legally allowed to give their kids adult rated materials if they choose too. But that also means the parent is responsible for teaching their kids right from wrong from the beginning. Teach them the difference between video game fantasy and reality.
