Poetry: Harmony

Symphony Within

Waiting to touch and be touched
To fall and break the fall of the wounded
To be brought back to life, and live eternally
To jump with those who have gone before
And shed a tear that streams forever more
Deep notes of sympathy string along
A symphony of surrender's song
Each cord striking within me
Reverberating

Soul song sustaining
The plucking of the master's hand
Reach across and turn pages of time
Letter by letter lyric flow
From pen and ink to stand alone
Together, a work of art majestically formed
Carved from the mind of the Creator
As dazzling stars piercing the night sky
And waves of a blue green sea brushing the shore
To whisper on of all that is in store
A symphony within to trail along forevermore
