As a blog writer and administrator for a heavily trafficked football blog, I am here to tell you to think twice before you involve yourself with google adsense.
Essentially, google adsense is an online affiliate program where google gives you HTML scripts and other graphical buttons to place on your web site. After readers or viewers click on such advertisements or web sites, the web administrator receives a certain share of ad revenue. Google never reveals what their system is in reimbursing you for such ads and you are totally at the whim of possibly an arbitrary and capricious system. Hold this thought!
Now, as your ad revenue begins to increase and reaches the $100.00 mark, google makes it a point to conduct a stringent review of person(s) making clicks on your web site. Theoretically, this is likely done through review of a person's internet protocol address and whether they have clicked on an advertisement more than once.
After sending the web administrator a special pin code, normally at the month and a half period, google is bound by their terms of service to send payment. Google is vary aware that the time to share advertisement revenue with various web admins. Accordingly, google has a two-week grace period to make an assessment as to whether or not to pay the increasing tally a webmaster or admin has amassed.
At this stage in the process, google has the entire discretionary power to disable a blog writer's google adsense account and send their hard-earned revenue making blog to $0.00. The web admin merely has a token appeal to respond to such a negative decision and is more likely to receive a google standard form letter, denying the appeal with no rational explanation.
In the end, one is never given the chance to see the evidence in which google has disabled their adsense account, and the time period in which it occurs is nothing less than capricious and whimsical (one week left to payment). Further, google's process in disabling your entire two month revenue activitiescreates a free windfall for advertisers. This of course presumes google refunds a portion or even some of the money one's web site has created - to the allegedly wronged advertiser.
I suggest a blog writer try videos through embedded text, to work on ad revenue before they go with an overemphasized google adsense service that is likely to end in disappointment.
