Do structured workout programs work?

Are you looking to lose some weight for increased health? How about developing an outstanding looking body to show off at the beach? Wouldn't you like everyone's head to turn when you walk into a room? There's no better way to achieve all of these things then getting in the best shape of your life. Many people talk about it, make New Year's resolutions to do it, but they just don't know the best way to achieve the end result their looking for. The fastest, most efficient way to get in shape is through a structured workout program. It will guarantee that you work your body correctly while also focusing on your diet. Well structured programs also change week to week or month to month so they are fun to follow because you don't get bored from being stuck in the same routine.

All the top workout programs are going to be about more than just lifting weights. The three components that are needed are; proper diet, toning your muscles and cardiovascular work. "If you're missing anyone of these three things your body will not reach the full potential that it could", said certified fitness trainer Stephanie Granzow. The beauty about a structured workout is they are good for everybody. Depending on what your goals are you will have different actual workouts than someone else, but both of your workouts will still be structured. Another benefit of having a structured workout is they take the guesswork out of it for you. Not everyone is a fitness professional, and we don't necessarily have the time to become one. By using a tested, proven program we can be sure to achieve maximum results in the shortest amount of time.

By now I know many of you are thinking, "Great, a structured program sounds like the way to go, but where do I start"? Well there are a few different options. One is finding a personal trainer to build one for you. The problem is they are costly and the added benefits are very limited. I'm always a proponent of maximum value for lowest cost so I did some searching. Muscle and Fitness has a great absolutely free workout program on their website. Go to Muscle and Fitness.com and go the topic M&F Trainer. From there you sign up, for free, and enter some information about yourself. They give you a workout based on your inputs. Do you want to lose weight, gain muscle, train for a specific sport etc. This combined with you age and lifestyle will allow them to build a workout that suits you.
