Reality TV [in addition to being the opiate of the masses] is also a symbol of torture and child abuse. The victims are numerous from the Henne family in Colorado who have taught their kids to lie to the Gosselin children. In the case of the Gosselin children, the Jon and Kate Reality Show has been damaging to the children.

Imagine being a child and having your life being broadcast before an audience whose obsession is to peer into the inner sanctity of a house. Imagine being a child whose parents are obsessed with being famous that they sacrifice their dignity and those of their children. It is hoped that the children will survive intact in the physical and psychological sense but it appears to be doubtful.

Imagine the television station TLC entering the houses of a egoistic family who want to be in a reality TV show without regards to the children. Imagine what is entering the minds of the poor children when they see cameras recording their every move while the parents and the television station [including the executive] giving their seal of approval.

Imagine the people who sit down at night to watch the television reality show of Jon and Kate and watching their every move. The public watches and give their sign of approval in the same vein that the Romans and Nero gave their sign of approval to killing Christians in the Colliseum or Castro and his followers in Cuba giving signs of approval to killing innocent people via the firing squad.

The people who have read about the Jon and Kate farce or have seen the reality TV Show must imagine what the children will go through when they are adults. One could only imagine that the Gosselin children will be visiting psychologists and psychiatrists in their adult life because parents with a distorted mindset, the television station called TLC ,and the people who watch these programs only to fulfill their sense of voyeurism.

The people who orchestrated this mental torture of the children will one day a heavy price for their collaboration with this monstrous work. The people who did nothing including turning off the television set will also pay a heavy price for their actions. It will come when the Goseelin and other Reality TV Show children will become adults and society will reap what it has sown.

The people who collaborated as well as those who did nothing are guilty for mental abuse on a child in Reality TV. The societies that condone these actions will end up as the Roman Empire.
