One of the many benefits that Helium offers to its members is the opportunity to suggest new titles to the site. Helium has a variety of titles ready for writers to post their articles. These titles may not have the specific subject matter or topics that some writers might need. Writers are invited and encouraged to suggest titles to the Helium site for addition.

Select the Suggest a title option.

There are two different ways that writers can access the title suggestion option. The first is with the write button upper screen bar. The write button will take writers to a variety of options for writing that include links to marketplace, debates, contests and other avenues for writing on Helium. There are also two options on the left side of the screen. The find a title button and the suggest a title button.

The second way to select the suggestion option is found on the member page. Going to the My Helium page opens a side bar of options including buttons to view articles, earnings, inviting additional writers and both the finding and suggesting title options. Use the Suggest a title button on the member page and allow the options to fill the screen. Suggesting a title is simple to do because of the easy to follow on screen instructions.

Add the new title in the first step

The first step is writing the new title. Write a new title bar is the first item on the screen. Helium asks members to simple fill in the bar with an appropriate title for addition to the site. Be sure to spell the title correctly before submitting. Once a title is submitted it cannot be changed.

Add the appropriate keywords

The second step is writing the keywords. The keywords become the fuel for the search engines. These keywords are used to create links from internet searches to the specific article title. These connection can and often do generate additional internet traffic to Helium. Using the correct or best keywords is essential for long term writing success.

Add the search phrase

The third step is entering the search phrase. The search phrase is the exact phrase used by the search engines to find the article title. Making a clear and concise phrase helps the search engine find the Helium title and direct traffic to the title group. When this is finished click the next button.

Check for duplicate titles

The final step is to check for duplicate titles. Helium does not allow writers to suggest an exact duplicate title. The titles can be similar but not identical. When a duplicate is discovered change the title to give a different approach to the topic or write to the existing title. When no duplicates are found the title is ready for submission. Finally click the submit button and wait for a response. Helium normally responds on title suggestions within a 24 hour period.

Suggesting titles is quick and easy on Helium and a simple way to spread more knowledge. Take some time to suggest some titles for Helium and help increase the knowledge base.
