"If you miss Heaven, What in Hell will you do?"
First of all, God doesn't want anyone to go to hell. Hell was never intended for man; but is intended for the devil and the fallen angels that made a choice to follow the devil instead of following God. By the way, they did not MISS heaven but were IN heaven at one point until they decided to make a choice to follow a very prideful satan in his rebellion against a Holy God. Heaven is not something that is "missed" as if we have no choice in the matter; quite the contrary because everyone has to make a choice in this life to CHOOSE either Heaven or Hell. The Bible is very clear regarding men being without an excuse in regards to a Creator and our Creator wants to be the Saviour of every soul and He wants none to perish (go to Hell) no, not one! So, the fact of the matter is-every human being WILL make a choice while he/she is in their mortal body to either choose life or choose death. We will either choose Heaven or we will choose Hell. God does not SEND people to Hell; but He does welcome ALL to Heaven who call on the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. Again, He doesn't want anyone to perish.
The Bible is very clear about what Hell is going to be like for the soul that chooses death instead of life through Jesus Christ. Let's examine Scripture together regarding this very important subject: In the Book of Matthew there are references to "weeping and gnashing of teeth" which we can only imagine the anguish and depression and horrible state that the souls are enduring in hell. Also, In Revelation 20:15, Scripture tells us that whosoever is not written in the "Lambs Book of Life" will be cast into the 'lake of fire'. I don't believe that we can even fathom what that will be like with our tiny finite minds! That soul will be burning forever and ever in the lake of fire because that soul made a choice to reject Jesus Christ while here on this earth. Furthermore; the lost souls will be cast out into 'outer darkness'. Now, this is a darkness that is so dark and evil and a very lonely oppressive state that cannot be explained. The soul that chooses Hell over Heaven is separated from God forever. This could happen to anyone in just a split second. We don't know when our last breath is in this mortal body. We're all alive right now because of HIS grace and HIS mercy. Again, I can't state this enough; but HE wants no one to perish but to come to the saving knowledge of HIS Son, Jesus Christ as Saviour.
Hell is not a happy place.
