Walking out of the fury into the rain.
My face turns towards the sky
The rain runs down my face
Caresses my body
A spark of excitement fills my heart
I let the rain cleanse my soul
Every drop renewing my spirit
And there it is.my smile

Puddles form along the street.
They come in many shapes and sizes
For so many
When it rains in the spring I close my eyes
a symphony as it plays upon my roof
Waves of showers against the window pane

Showers in Mexico
Cars on the cobblestone streets
emit gas into the humid air,
as the smell of salt lingers
from the nearby
When it rains the old man thinks
He see's slithers of silver,
Littering his garden path.
His elderly brain turns lightening
