Weight loss is not just a matter of eating less or walking more. Weight loss requires a lifestyle change; otherwise the weight loss is not sustainable.

Many people are overweight due to lifestyle changes. If they do not start weight loss program, they will become obese, and face many health problems.

Obesity is a big problem for the nation and the individual. The extra pounds have the potential of causing premature death due to heart attack, stroke, cancer, hypertension and diabetes. Obesity affects the quality of life too.

It is hard to imagine an obese person enjoying a game of soccer on Sunday. Weight loss program to get rid of the excess pounds can add years to the lifespan. Weight loss program can help benefit a person mentally, emotionally and physically.

The quick weight loss methods are not lasting. Quick weight loss methods help to shed pounds off, and keep them at bay for a few weeks. The excess pounds will find the way back to the body.

The problem with quick weight loss methods is that they target only one aspect of weight gain. Quick weight loss methods do not take a holistic approach to weight loss.

It is better to use the tortoise method of weight loss rather than the hare method.

Holistic approach to weight loss starts by building self esteem. Learn to love yourself a person. Learn to love your body and view it as a miracle. You can view the excess fats as excess fuels to burn off as soon as possible.

When you learn to view your body as a miracle, you will love your body. You will start to take care of the body, and treat it with respect. That is the most important of the weight loss program. A person who hates her body and misuses her body will not lose weight successfully.

The weight loss program will provide lifetime results. Once you have the right mindset towards weight loss program, you can start to set realistic goals and lose weight systematically.

The first tip for successful weight loss is to eat sufficiently food. You do not starve your body. You do not skip meal. You do not want your body to go into starvation mode. You know that you hate the feelings of an empty stomach. Your body hates you for not giving enough nutrients for daily functions.

You have to eat nutritious food to keep the body healthy. You do not need to starve to lose weight.

The second tip for successful weight loss is to eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You have to plan for a healthy breakfast. You should aim for healthy, low fat,
