Money is the root of all evil

Money itself has no power over people. Money is just a piece of paper. It is to exchange for personal and material stuffs.  People use the money to help the disadvantages.  They also use the money to buy grocery, clothes and shoes, put their children through school, and to pay bills. In addition, they use the money to take the bus or to put gas in the car, and to buy other material things. It is nothing wrong to provide needs for kids and themselves as long as they are doing works that are legal. Furthermore, money can help to motivate some people to go to work.  Contrary, money is the root of all evil if people love money more than anything.

The love of money leads to all kinds of evil (I Timothy 6:10). People who love money become more selfish and greedy. They always want more and more money. They are never satisfied how much money they have.  In addition, they always complain if someone has more money than them, or that they do not have enough.

Furthermore, jealousy, hatred, anger, and all other negative and evil behaviors enter into peoples’ lives. When that happens, they have no mercy for life.  They would do anything to get money.  For instance, people steal and kill for money.  The love of money destroys them instead leading them to life. The Bible states, "People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction" (I Timothy 6:9).  People who love money more than anything endanger their soul.

In conclusion, money is not the root of all evil. Money is an exchange for goods. Money itself is not dangerous. On the other hand, the love of money is dangerous. In addition, how people use and spend money can be dangerous. If people use and spend money for good, it does not lead to destruction. On the other hand, when they use and spend money for evil, it leads to destruction. It leads to all kinds of depraved desires and behaviors that harm others and themselves. Eventually, the love of money will only direct to the path of destruction.  However, if people stop loving money more than anything, they will experience joy, peace, happiness, and comfort.  They will also enjoy their lives and people around them.
