The Unlikely Lovers (Inspired by Shrek!)

The moon came out, the sun went down
All was quiet in the town
Two meet secretly, away from view
An alliance between this special two

Beyond the town, within the hill
Her warm breath takes the chill
Out of the air; their hearts step up a pace
With love they look upon each face

They talk well into the night
Laugh and joke, it feels so right
It had been love at first sight
Yet such a strange love to be
Between a dragon and donkey
