A constant state of wonder
Of question and delight
An ever changing story
The chapters in my life

Everything I learned
and believed when I was young
Has been challenged into thinking
A resolve not quite done

I have sought the words and wisdom
Of sages long ago
I have humbled in their philosophy
And followed what they know

Not finding in humanity
A meaning so profound
As when I stop listen
To the silence all around

Still I wait for something
That finds me everyday
The ever changing story
I find in natures way
