Angels are considered by many as spiritual beings from the Bible however if you consider that an 'Angel' could also be a person placed in your path of life to help guide you in the direction best for you, then yes, there are Angels among us. They are the messengers from the Light, or God or Higher Being, whichever you prefer and they are here among us to gently guide us to a better life. They do not impose or threaten or coerce us into thinking a certain way. Angels merely show us a way to be, and leave it up to us to choose.

The Christian concept of an angel shifted between the angel as a messenger of God and a manifestation of God himself. In fact the Bible includes a number of interactions and conversations between humans and Angels. Many religions borrow from one another and apply their own meaning to concepts and here is only one example.

In Zoroastrianism there are different angel-like figures. For example, each person has one guardian angel. Islam is clear that Angels are messengers of God.

Studies of people who have claimed to have had a vision of an Angel, describe several types of such experiences: visions, e.g. to convey a warning to avert a dangerous situation. In the visual experiences, the angels described appear in various forms, either in the form of a human with wings, in the form of extraordinarily beautiful or radiant human beings, or as beings of light. There are those that say they are not religious but believe they have guardian Angel that has protected them since birth.

Angels can be classed as 'angelic or demonic'. But that is purely to classify them as right or wrong; a messenger from God or a messenger from the 'Devil'.

It is when you ask of your purpose in this life that life conspires to provide the answers and when you listen to your heart you can hear the song of nature. It would be I think akin to the song of an Angel if you perceive Angels to be serenely beautiful and from the 'Light'. If you feel you have been touched by an Angel, then as the movie title says, 'pay it forward'.

There is no wrong or right path to follow, there is however your way and if you heed the omens or signs provided by life then you have heeded the call of the Angels.

They are the Angels among us.
