"Kinsbaile Cavalier" is a 2/2 white kithkin knight creature card printed as a rare for the Magic the Gathering expansion set known as "Morningtide." This is a type of card that is built to support one creature type. In this respect, Kinsbail Cavalier is a card that supports other knights. You want to build a deck revolving around knights if you want to get the most out of the Kinsbaile Cavalier.
The converted mana cost for Kinsbaile Cavalier is four mana. You will need one white mana and three colorless mana to bring Kinsbaile Cavalier from your hand and onto the battlefield. For what Kinsbaile Cavalier can do, the mana cost is very reasonable enough. Keep in mind that you should build a knight-themed deck to get the most out of the Kinsbaile Cavalier.
What does Kinsbaile Cavalier do in the first place?
When Kinsbaile Cavalier is on the battlefield, all knight creatures on the battlefield under your control get Double Strike. They get to deal First Strike damage and regular damage. This is good for you and bad for your opponents. If any of your knights have Flying, Fear, and/or Trample, it is extremely bad for your opponents. Depending on how you build your deck, you can definitely get the most out of it. Perhaps Kinsbaile Cavalier is the answer to a white deck going up against an aggressive red deck.
If you are going up against a black deck, you can use this ability to help out "White Knight." White Knight has First Strike and Protection from Black. White Knight can go through your opponent's black creatures and deal Double Strike damage to an opponent. If the White Knight is beefed up, it can do sizable damage to the opponent that is using the black deck.
In a multicolored knight deck, you can make good use out of the Kinsbaile Cavalier. Again a strict white deck, Kinsbaile Cavalier can beef up "Black Knight" and "Blood Knight." Black Knight is black and Blood Knight is red. They both have First Strike and Protection from White.
Against a black deck, you can combine this with "Crusading Knight." Crusading Knight gets +1/+1 for each Swamp each opponent controls. And it already has Protection from Black. If there are seven Swamps on the battlefield, Crusading Knight becomes a 9/9 creature. With Kinsbaile Cavalier, the Crusading Knight becomes a 9/9 with Double Strike. In this respect, you can nail a black deck opponent for eighteen points of damage.
A good combination would be with "Ethersworn Adjudicator." It is 4/4 with Flying. You can attack for four points of damage. Kinsbaile Cavalier will give it Double Strike. For one blue mana and two colorless mana, you can untap Ethersworn Adjudicator and attack again. If you have enough mana, you can abuse the combination of abilities presented by Ethersworn Adjudicator and Kinsbaile Cavalier.
With "Knight of Dawn," you can pay two white mana to give it protection from the color of your choice until the end of the turn. With Kinsbaile Cavalier, you can move in with Knight of Dawn and do Double Strike damage.
Overall, Kinsbaile Cavalier is a great card to have provided that you have knights. However, knights seem to work great with each other to an extent. For a white or multicolored knight deck, this is one card worth putting in.
